Ruggedized Casio C771 G’zOne Ready for Outdoor Use, Abuse
There is still not much known about the device since its mentioning during CES 2011, other than it is Android-powered and features a 800 MHz processor with pre-installed applications for use in outdoor activities. Applications such as an earth compass and digital thermometer are all expected to come preloaded on the device at launch.
According to the source, the G’zOne will include Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) and feature a 5 megapixel camera. The source also says the phone will include an 8 GB microSD card. The G’zOne is said to be launching on Verizon very soon and while there are still plenty of unknowns about the phone, it should still be very popular for users in need of a device capable of withstanding harsh use.
