Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Ad Sticks Thumb in Propriety’s Eye

By now you should have that Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Superbowl commercial out of your nightmares. Prepare to re-live those sleepless nights, because the story continues!

Xperia Play Needs Thumbs!

Sony Ericsson has released a new part of what looks to be an ongoing story involving Android’s thumbs… to play your Xperia Play of course! The new video shows someone filing a police report, asking how he can get his thumbs back. I think it’s a safe bet that we’ll see at least two more of these in ads for the “Playstation phone.”

I agree they are disturbing, but I kind of like them. They stand out and bring attention to the uniqueness of the phone, and thats not a bad thing. Check out the video below and let us know in the comments what you think of the way they are advertising the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.
