Sports Illustrated comes to Android Devices
Sports Illustrated magazine: the most popular sports magazine in the world is expanding its digital “All Access” subscriptions to Android Tablets and phones! The newest app has XOOM-sized support if you install the “Sports Illustrated – Tablet” version of the app, and it really reminds us why magazines should go digital.
If you already get the magazine, you can activate your digital access right within the app, if you don’t have any SI subscription account, they have offers tailored to how you’d like to receive their content. Since SI is known for their amazing photography, digital subscribers will get additional shots not used in the newsstand publication, as well as videos and articles that are exclusive as well. If you are a sports person with a XOOM it’s hard to come up with a reason why you shouldn’t get this one!
Both versions are available in the Android Market now. You can get the tablet sized version here, and the phone friendly version here. Check out their press release below.
