Well XDA- Developers have done it again. The Acer Iconia Tab A500, one of the newest Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablets that has hit the market, has already been rooted. The post will point you to a thread for a modified gingerbread exploit for rooted phones, will now give you the link to the APK to root your Iconia Tab.
Instructions:
- Download the modified APK
- Install it on your tablet
- Run it
- Bam, you are now rooted
