AT&T Adding Not Just A Google Nexus S, but a White One!

“4G” Label Will Likely be Slapped on the AT&T Version

Like Sprint and T-Mobile, AT&T is the third US carrier to have the Nexus S in its lineup. On Samsung’s website with AT&T chosen as the carrier, the phone is seen with a white color, instead of the know Nexus S darkish colors. For some reason Samsung has removed the page, but it will probably up in a few days. This kind of distinguishes it, but everything is the same under the hood, except it is using the AT&T bands. The website didn’t state if it was going to be 3G or 4G, but the Nexus S does support HSPA+, so AT&T will likely add the “4G” label to it.

Quick Specs

As stated the phone will be HSPA+. Running Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, this phone will receive future Android updates, like the Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 2.4), before every other phone or tablet. The screen is at 4-inches with 800×480 resolution display, a 5-megapixel camera with front-facing VGA camera. The processor stands at a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor.

‘Sall About Perspective

For many the white Nexus S looks more attractive, but for others they like the original one better. What version do you like? Remember the guts of both color versions are the same, and you will get the same updates for whichever path you take.
