According to Julie Brown and Kayla Molaski Google collects location data that would normally require a warrant to obtain. That point is debatable, but the police don’t need a warrant to do anything that you give them permission to do, just as these women gave permission for Google to collect their location data.
In typical fashion this lawsuit doesn’t address any actual damages, just the standard “nothing bad has happened to me yet but you still owe me $50 million” BS. That’s not a direct quote, I paraphrased it a bit.
