It’s Been So Long You Have Probably Forgoten Your Motorola Xoom Has A MicroSD Card Slot

Techcrunch just did an interesting piece on the Motorola Xoom and its lack of a working microSD slot even though the hardware is there.

Its not like it is even terribly hard for them to enable it, their are kernels posted on XDA that enable it. It’s not a Honeycomb thing either seeing as the ASUS Transformer have no problem with it, neither does the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for that matter.

This is purely a Motorola decision and its ridiculous 3 months after the Xoom’s release that such a basic function is still missing. No worries though because if you want to get your photos straight off you digital camera Motorola will be happy to sell you a $20 cable…
