Samsung debuted, in Korea, a new hybrid tablet, called the SENS-240. Essentially the SENS-240 is a car navigation device that Bluetooth pairs itself with your smartphone, and gives you a better navigation experience. While paired with your phone, it requires your phones voice, data, voice search functions, and video functions to display on the tablet’s 7 inch screen. The SENS-240 also has some decent specs under the hood.
It packs:
- 1.43 GHz processor
- 3-D map rendering
- Simultaneous video and audio
- 800×480 resolution
- 256 RAM
- USB 2.0 host
- SD card slot
One more surprise Samsung packed into this baby is that your phone can act as a remote. When it is paired with the SENS-240 you can control video, audio, and other features into a dedicated UI on your phone. So maybe we’ll see this device hitting the highways sometime this year.
