Samsung showcases the highly anticipated Galaxy S II

The Samsung Galaxy S II is my pick for most powerful smartphone in the world ,at least for now, and I’m not the only one who thinks so evidenced by the record-breaking 3 million pre-orders. The phone is rocking a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch AMOLED Gorilla Glass screen (powered by Dupont), and 8mp camera. Of course its running a new version of TouchWiz and Android Gingerbread 2.3. This is one great phone and one Samsung should be showing off and that’s exactly what their up to in the new 12 minute demo video below.

New TouchWiz is graceful

Goofy music aside the video really shows off some of the features on Samsung’s new flag-ship phone. More than just hardware separate the new Galaxy S from the first. The 3D graphics effects showcased as well as motion control, customizable Live Panel, home screen, and widgets, and other new features of TouchWiz UI. I’m still betting on HTC myself but this phone certainly has the goods. Check out the video and tell us which of the features you can’t wait for in the comments.
