The newest HTC Thunderbolt radio has leaked, this one with support for both Froyo and Gingerbread software. This means if you were holding off on trying any of the newest HTC Sense 3.0 based ROMS due to possible bricking, you are in the clear. As always, once the radio file is downloaded, rename the file PG05IMG.zip and drag it to the root of your SD card. Next, flash the radio from HBoot and your all set.
Could this mean that Gingerbread is closing in for the Thunderbolt? According to and XDA forum member, no. This radio is from a Froyo update with an updated RIL. But wipe those tears, you now can install a Sense 3.0 Rom with no radio-caused bricking.
