ASUS Transformer Pad 300
Everyone knows about the ASUS Transformer Prime and its Tegra 3 processor as being one of best tablets on the market and it has the premium price to go along with it retailing for $499. ASUS just released the Transformer Pad 300 which will replace the original transformer as their lower priced option competing with the $399 iPad 2 for $379 with 16GB and $399 for the 32GB model. The good news is it still comes with the quad core Tegra 3 SoC, a 10″ (1280 x 800) resolution display, and an available laptop keyboard dock. It is no longer aluminum and has shifted to a soft touch plastic shell, that still looks nice and should help with the GPS and Wi-Fi problems of the Prime. In terms of cameras it still has the 8MP rear camera but with no flash and a 1.2MP front facing camera. It is a good deal overall missing very little from its more expensive big brother, and come in a range of color options to suit individual taste.
