Featured: Nexus 7 Touch Defect Surfaces with Video

There have already been some complaints about the Nexus 7 display issues that include light bleeding within the screen. However, guys over at Geek.com have found a new touch defect in the device. Most of the people might not even notice this as it only happens after playing a Tegra 3 optimized game that pushes the hardware to the limits.

After playing a certain game for couple of minutes the right side of the tablet in portrait mode goes numb and won’t respond to your touches. this numb area is nearly the half of the display. This issue won’t just affect your gaming session as it can also occur during other apps and ruin your UI experience as well. Since, Tegra 3 games are the main reason for this issue it is possible that this is just an overheating issue that can be fixed with a quick software update.

There is no fix available for this issue yet but you can turn-off your display and then turn it on to get the touch back but it could be bothersome especially during gameplay. Check out the video below to see this issue in action.
