I’m a big fan of Pocket for Android and I’ve been using it for a couple months now. It’s a fantastic way to read content from pretty much anywhere and the concept itself makes things far easier to remember then say a bookmark. If you’re not familiar with Pocket it’s an app and a service that allows you to place web sites into this “pocket” and then read them offline wherever, from a number of devices. It strips out all the excess from an article and presents you with just the text and the images. Leaving you with a Kindle like experience but on that fancy Android tablet of yours.

If you’ve just gotten the most fancy of Android tablets in the form of the Nexus 7 then count yourself lucky for two reasons one; you have your Nexus 7 and two; Pocket now supports the great little tablet. Meaning you can now enjoy the goodness of Pocket on that fantastic high-res display. Reading your favourite Android Headlines posts on that new Nexus 7 can’t look any better, surely!

Pocket is a great app for you all to go and look at regardless of whether it’s on that shiny new Nexus 7 or not, with it’s features aimed solely at providing you the content that you want it’s a fantastic app for the nightstand and great for the couch. I love it and I’m sad that I can’t join in with you on your Nexus 7! So, for me, enjoy the app and enjoy your new tablet!
