So you know that Galaxy S3 Samsung created that has taken the world by storm? Yeah that 4.8-inch screen with that powerful quad-core processor (except on the carriers with LTE). Well now it looks as if Samsung can’t just leave that device alone. Currently we have 16 and 32 gigabyte versions available on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular. While AT&T opted to only sell the 16gb version, along with a red version of the Galaxy S3.
A phone retailer in the UK, Clove, now a landing page for that new black edition of the Galaxy S3 we told you about earlier this month. In addition to the black color, it looks like this one will be shipping with 64gb of space. Yes there is still an SD card slot, so theoretically you could have a 128gb Android phone. Now that’s a lot of space!
For those Samsung fans, you may remember that at the Galaxy S3 announcement in London earlier this year Samsung told us there would be a 64gb version of the device. But we heard nothing more about it until now. Many of us figured the device was never going to show up, but it looks like it’ll be coming in the second half of the year.
Currently we have no pricing on this 64gb version of the Galaxy S3, we also don’t know what carriers, if any, that the device will be available on. But you should be able to buy the unlocked version for a hefty price and put it on your T-Mobile or AT&T account. We also don’t have an exact release date yet, but we expect to see it available before the end of the year.
So who’s interested in a 64gb Galaxy S3? Would you rather spend that money on a Galaxy Note 2, which will be announced later this month?
