Featured: Sony Announces Three New Smartphones At IFA 2012

We’ll have a lot more updates from IFA 2012 over the next week and Sony is getting a bit of a headstart on the conference which begins August 31st. Aside from announcing the Xperia Tablet S, they also unveiled three different smartphones, the Xperia V, Xperia J, and Xperia T. Eventually, they’ll run out of letters in the alphabet.

All kidding aside, Sony looks to be bringing their A game and the specs are pretty solid. Here’s all the specs as well as videos to go along with them:

Xperia T

  • 4.6 inch HD Display
  • 1.5GHz dual core processor
  • 13MP rear-facing camera that claims to go from sleep to snap in a little over a second
  • 1080p HD video support with 720p HD support via front-facing camera
  • PlayStationâ„¢ Certified
  • MHL connectivity, NFC
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will eventually get upgraded to Jelly Bean
  • Available in white, silver, and black

Xperia V

Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but that’s sure to come. The 13 megapixel cameras sound very intriguing and very much looking forward to seeing how nice the quality of photos they take.
