We’ve had 4G LTE here in the U.S. for a while now and can enjoy blazing fast speeds in many cities across the nation. Sprint finally hopped on the 4G LTE train and will phase out their WiMax network by the end of this year. T-Mobile is on the 4G train, but doesn’t have LTE speeds just yet. Still, even at decent speeds, their upcoming unlimited 4G plans are very enticing.
The UK hasn’t had access to 4G LTE yet, but starting next month, they’ll have it. Orange and T-Mobile created a company called Everything Everywhere that will have a 4G LTE network in the country. It’ll be experimental, but it’s a start. Because of that, you obviously want to offer a phone that has 4G LTE, right? Well, the HTC One XL will be available when the network launches and offers some solid specs.
- 4.7 inch 720×1280 Super IPS LCD2 display (312 ppi)
- Corning Gorilla Glass
- 1.5GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage
- 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video support
- 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera with 720p video support

The One XL is no quad-core phone, but offers some really nice specs overall. And surely it’ll be enough to power through the 4G LTE network in the UK come next month. No pricing details yet, but sure to come in the following weeks.
