Featured: Chrome for Android updated with Bugfixes and more

If you open up the Play Store on your device you’ll find a new update for Chrome for Android. The new version is M18.1 for those interested. Here’s the complete changelog from the Play Store:

This version update includes a number of security and stability improvements. Additional highlights
-Location preference now integrated to system level Google apps location setting.
-Youtube videos controls now work in full screen mode; videos continue playing after a screen lock/unlock
-Fixes to make third-party IMEs work better with Chrome

So it looks like it’s just the normal update, nothing particularly new or enhanced really. Although Android Police is reporting that the update also improves Chrome’s Sandboxing feature. Making it a safer browsing experience, and protecting users from malicious code. Which is always good to see. The update also appears to remove the “report an issue” from most screens and adds an “import bookmarks” option as seen below.

Who out there uses Chrome on their Android device? Of those, who has gotten the update already? What do you think of it, do you notice any speed improvements?
