Featured: T-Mobile Confirms the Galaxy S Relay 4G has a Snapdragon S4 Processor

So you remember that Galaxy S Relay 4G that was announced to be available on T-Mobile last week? Yeah we didn’t know what type of processor it had until now. T-Mobile has confirmed to Tmonews and a few other publications that the device will be sporting a Snapdragon S4 processor and not a S3. For those geeky enough to know, it’s the MSM8260A, but we aren’t 100% sure on that one yet.

It looks like someone at Samsung or T-Mobile messed up the packaging on the Relay 4G, as it says the device runs a Snapdragon S3 clocked at 1.5GHz. But we now know for sure that it’s the S4 and someone will have to relabel all those boxes.

In case you don’t remember the Galaxy S Relay 4G features a 4″ Super AMOLED display, 8GB of internal memory along with a micro SD card slot for expansion, and we now know it runs on a Snapdragon S4 processor. I suspect it’s clocked at 1.5GHz. For those looking for a nice QWERTY slider on T-Mobile this might be the phone you’re looking for. It’s set to be $150 with a new contract. You can pick it up next Wednesday, September 19th.

So who’s picking this one up?
