Featured: 16GB Nexus 7 Hitting End of Life, Being Replaced by The Rumored 32GB Version

Lately, we’ve seen so many rumors and leaks of the 32GB version of the Nexus 7. Not to mention Google accidentally sent a guy in Japan a 32GB version instead of the 16GB version he ordered. I’m sure he’s not complaining. This afternoon, Phandroid received a screenshot from an “insider” which is indicating that the 16GB (1B16) is being phased out for the 32GB (1B32) version.

Now if this turns out to be true, there are going to be some upset people. Many people who bought the 16GB version wanted more space, but had to settle for the 16GB because that’s the largest Google announced that the Nexus 7 would be available in. Even at $249, a 16GB Nexus tablet is a great deal.

Let’s hope the 32GB model will launch in time for the Holidays. I know this will be a big seller for Christmas if Google and ASUS can get it out to the public in time. We’ll have to wait and see. Is there anyone out there that bought the 16GB version and would sell it for the 32GB? I actually haven’t filled up my 16GB version so I don’t need more storage, yet.
