Featured: A few International Samsung Galaxy Note 2's shipping missing the multi-window feature

Alright guys, we know you want your Galaxy Note 2. But this is kind of interesting. A few users are reporting over in the Android Central forums that they have received their Galaxy Note 2 without the popular multi-window feature. Last night on the podcast we talked about this briefly while we went over some Key Lime Pie stuff. But the multi-window feature will allow you to watch a video in a window on top of other apps. So you could tweet, send texts, check Google+, or most importantly check Android Headlines for the latest Android news, all while watching a video. It’s pretty cool, if I say so myself.

From what we’ve been told, there are two different firmware’s on these devices. So if you check Settings, and go to About device and see “N7100XXALIE” as your build number, then you will not have the multi-window feature. But if your build number is “N7100XXALIH” then you do have the multi-window feature.

Hopefully Samsung will push out an OTA to get all these devices onto the same build number. If not, I’m sure our trusty developers are cooking up a stock ROM to fix this. Anyone get their Galaxy Note 2 yet? How are you liking it?
