Featured: Dev Diary Video For Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour Surfaces; More Intense Gameplay Footage

I know I’m not the only fan of the First Person Shooters out there. That is why I know a lot of you android gamers were just as excited to see the next installment in the Modern Combat franchise coming to light a few weeks back. Just this morning the team behind Modern Combat 4 decided to throw us another bone and put up a Video Dev Diary where they talk about the game and some more of its features and we even get another look at some more gameplay footage! After watching the video, I was pleased to know what is to come and I eagerly await its release. I am making storage room on my tablet as we speak.

In the video Dev Diary they talk about some of the games new additives that are different from previous Modern Combat titles like Ragdoll physics and Motion-capture combat for the game mechanics. All of these definitely bring a certain essence of realism to the game that otherwise wasn’t there before. Essentially making each time you play a different experience. The game still looks as much like its console big brothers as ever, but that’s kind of what we want isn’t it? More realism, more engagement, and more intense action? I know I do! The more exciting part of this video was at the end though, where they let us know that the next Dev Diary will be about the multiplayer aspect of the game. Which damn well better include some gamepad support for controls because goddammit the multiplayer controls on MC3 were awful. This is just my opinion of course. I won’t dive too much more into the details of the video because I wish not to ruin the excitement you will get from watching it. For me, seeing the details first hand was the best part. If you wish to keep up to date on all the latest MC4 news though you can do as I will and just bookmark the main news page for MC4.

Is anyone starting to get really excited about this game? I’m getting pumped. Without further ado, here’s the video to get the excitement flowing like beer on a hot afternoon.
