Ok, so some of you may already have seen that Wildblood has hit the play store as of the 8th. Others that may not follow many other sites that cover games may not have or you just may have missed the fact completely that Gameloft released the game onto android finally. In any case, it is available now and you can pick it up for 6.99 on the play store. Pricetag is typical of what you would expect of from a high end gameloft game. The game is also a bit hefty in size so make sure you have a good two and half to three gigabytes of space just to make sure you don’t get a memory low notification like I did. Yes, I was able to easily fill up the space on my nexus 7. (not hard to do when you have the 8gb version. A couple of big games and it’s all over. )
Wildblood is a game we have been following for some time, since GameLoft started teasing it back in August. Backed by a rich storyline and powered by the Epic Unreal engine, which is GameLoft’s first game to using the graphics engine, Wildblood delivers a very compelling gaming experience. I only got like 25 minutes in and I’m already hooked. Look out for a full review or game spotlight pick for this coming soon. In wildblood, you will play as sir Lancelot, who has returned home only to find that the village and the castle is in ruin and under siege of monsters and hell demons that are commanded by the mighty Morgana. Morgana who is King Arthur’s sorceress has been unleashed after King Arthur has gone mad over the betrayal of his beloved Queen Guinevere and Lancelot’s secret love. His sadness could only be overcome by his malice, and so he set Morgana on the people to unleash his pain. Morgana has taken the Queen hostage, and as Lancelot, you must face your destiny and save the women you love, and the people from evil.
Sounds pretty cool right? The game over all is very visually impressive and I have had the opportunity to play it both on my Galaxy Nexus and on my Nexus 7, and let me assure you there is a clear distinction between the way the game looks on both devices. Whatever device you end up playing it on, it will be worth it. The impressive graphics are astonishing, and you will love the ability to use diverse combat through melee and magic to dispose of your foes.
