Developers are you ready? Samsung has just dropped the kernel source code for the Galaxy Note 2. Now the device is only available in Europe so far, but will be headed to the States very soon, in fact later this month on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Now this kernel source isn’t going to help out normal users that much, it will help out ROM and kernel developers make their ROMs and kernels even better.
So if you’re someone like me, who is constantly flashing new ROMs and kernels, this is great news for you. So far Samsung has only dropped the code for the devices shown in the image above. Hopefully we’ll see source code for the US variants of the Galaxy Note 2 shortly after they are launched by the particular carrier.
Who has the Galaxy Note 2 already? Who has already flashed a custom ROM on it? Let us know in the comments what you’re running.
