Featured: Microsoft Office 2013 Coming To Android This Spring

Microsoft Office is used by Millions of people around the World from average users to business professionals and more. The next evolution of the product is Office 2013 and recently Microsoft announced that it’ll be ready and start shipping to customers in November.

Being that it’ll be out to Windows users here very soon, what about the mobile apps? After all, not a ton very few use a Windows Phone based device. For those who rely off of Office for a number of tasks, the tech giant has some good news. Office 2013 will be coming to Android this March as well as iOS and Symbian.

Wait. Symbian? Can somebody please remind me what that is is? All kidding aside, the suite of apps will be available here shortly. Microsoft has always been a software company at heart and they’ve seemed to realize that limiting their product to specific platforms, i.e. Windows, is hurting adoption and aggravating customers and users who don’t use just a Windows PC or Mac.

If you’re planning on getting Office 2013 or if the company you work for is getting the upgrade, keep your eye on the Google Play Store come the spring to get your hands on the appropriate apps.
