While Motorola is out making many of their customers upset by not updating many devices that are just over a year old, the developers at CyanogenMod are working on the Droid X2 (Verizon) and bringing CyanogenMod 10 Alpha 1 to the device. XDA Forum member dragonzkiller is the guy behind all of this. He is the same developer that brought CM7 and CM9 to the Droid X2, so most of you are probably pretty familiar with his work.
Some of the working features in this Alpha build of CM10 are:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- 3G
- Calling
- GPS
- Google Now
- Audio System
- Camera (with some issues)
- Maps
There are little to no issues with this ROM. Users have found some issues with the camera and a few ICS/JB apps have crashed. But it’s definitely ready to be a daily driver. So if you’ve got a Droid X2, go ahead over to the original thread and download this ROM (along with gapps) and let us know how great or not so great the ROM really is.
