Featured: Nexus Call Center Gearing Up To Launch [Report]

With news of multiple Nexus devices dropping, that means an influx of Google branded devices hitting the market. According to numerous reports, Google is supposedly recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area via a third party to staff a Nexus call center.

Nothing is confirmed at this point, but it seems rather obvious who’s behind the whole thing. An ad from the recruiter only mentions the client as someone who is confidential, in the Mountain View area, and recently launched an Android tablet. We’ll let you figure that one out on your own.

Not only are they recruiting for the call center, but plan to have it fully staffed and trained by the end of this month. That would definitely go in line with the launch of an upcoming Nexus device or two or four. The reasoning for a Nexus call center is quite simple. Google has never been known for great customer service, that’s just the reality.

In people needing customer service for previous Nexus devices, it just wasn’t there. Because Google is putting their name behind these devices, they’ve finally come to the realization that they need to step their game up and provide more support, not leave it up to manufacturers. This is hopefully a step in the right direction and may even lead to better customer service across the entire organization.
