Those of us here at Android Headlines have been pretty excited about the Galaxy Note 2 for some time. With a slightly larger display, better processor, and more goodies, it’s looking to become the best compromise between a smartphone and a tablet yet.
While those of us here in the United States aren’t quite as lucky, those in the UK can pick up the Galaxy Note 2 today from three different carriers, Vodafone, O2, and Three. O2 and Vodafone haven’t released pricing details yet, but Three has fortunately. The Note 2 will cost you just €69 with the purchase of their €34 or €36 per month service plan, or €499 if you go with their pay-as-you go plan.
To give you a brief recap of the specs, here they are:
- 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED HD display
- Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection
- 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor
- 2GB RAM
- Up to 64GB of internal storage with microSD card support up to 64GB
- 8 megapixel rear-facing camera
- 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera
- 3,100 mAh battery
- HSPA+ compatible
- S Pen functionality
- Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
It’s shaping up to be a rather impressive phone and we look forward to the Galaxy Note 2 making flight overseas here soon. Do you have an interest in the Note 2 or is it a bit too big for your taste?
