Most of you probably visit XDA often. Or you just visit them when you are looking for a new ROM to flash. Either way, XDA is visited by thousands if not millions of people per day. Developers share their work on XDA for the good of growing the Android Community. Most developers are self taught, they learned by coding, and probably from a bit of Google-ing.
Well XDA is going to be launching XDA-University.com very soon. It’s a place where you can learn about Android development. XDA-U will feature everything from learning how to root your device to learning how to compile from source. The University will also be offering a free downloadable book for the hardcore learners. You can currently sign up on XDA-University.com and get on the mailing list, the team will let you know when the new semester begins.
So who’s getting their Android Developer’s Degree? This might be the push many of us need to actually do what we’ve wanted to do, and develop for Android.
