Sim-free retailers in the UK began offering the HTC One X+ today on their websites. Expansys and Unlocked-Mobile both began contacting media outlets this morning to let them know that the Sim-free version of the HTC device was available and in-stock. Prices for the device begin at £475, or about $763 dollars.
What exactly does this small fortune get you? A pretty good mobile:
SpecificationsBattery: 2100 mAhDimensions: 134.4 x 69.9 x 8.9 mmDisplay: 4.7 inch capacitive touchscreenResolution: 720 x 1280Memory: 32/64GB Storage 1GB RAMCamera: 8 Megapixel, LED Flash, autofocus, 1.6 front cameraConnectivity: Hotspots, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, BluetoothPlatform: Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
64GB of storage on-board means you should have plenty of room for your media. A 24-month manufacturers warranty is a nice touch as well. Gorilla Glass and a Super LCD 2 display make a beautiful display on a device that you would be hard pressed to discern physically from its older brother the original HTC One X.
Jelly Bean is on-board as well, though users shouldn’t expect it to ship with the latest 4.2 edition. The true difference between the One X and the One X+ is the processor. The One X opted for a dual-core snapdragon, while the One X+ offers up a snappy quad-core NVidia 1.7GHz Tegra 3.
