New Google Now Update ready to be Downloaded from the Play Store; Including Nearby Attractions, Launch Apps, New Voice Actions and More

One of the new features in Android 4.2 was an updated Google Now. Well you don’t have to wait for Android 4.2 source code to drop to enjoy the new Google Now. The updated Google Now app is in the Play Store and ready to go. The update is pretty lengthy, but that’s expected with a new version of Android hitting. Let’s take a look at the full change log.

What’s in this version:
For Android 4.1+ (Jelly Bean), Google Search is faster plus:
– Google Now works with Gmail (English only)
– Flights
– Restaurant reservations
– Hotel confirmations
– Events
– Packages
– New Now cards: nearby attractions & photo spots, movies opening in theaters, concerts & more
– New voice actions: launch apps, schedule meetings & check when your next appointment is
Google Now puts you in control: at any time, adjust or turn off individual Now cards within Settings.

Head to the Play Store now and update Google Search (a.k.a. Google Now) and check out all these cool new features. One of my favorite new features is the Gmail integration. Let us know in the comments how you like the update.
