For those into custom ROMs, it appears that the CyanogenMod team has pushed out some stable releases for a number of devices. If you head over to get.cm you’ll find a number of CM 10.0.0 releases are already available with more coming. Some of those devices include:
- Samsung Galaxy S3 (all variants)
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Motorola Xoom
- HTC One S
- HTC One X
- Galaxy Nexus
- Nexus 7
- and more…
Now onto the bigger news. CyanogenMod announced that Android 4.2 – Jelly Bean will not be CM 11, but CM 10.1. My guess would be because it’s still Jelly Bean and not a new desert. With Android 4.2 now available in AOSP as of last night, we should see some new Android 4.2 ROMs available shortly. Hopefully CyanogenMod will get some nightlies going in the next few days. Wouldn’t we all like that?
So go ahead and flash some stable CM 10, and let’s see how long before we start seeing CM 10.1 nightlies being pushed out. Hopefully it’s just a matter of days.
