Last month the internet was treated to an explosion of leaks surrounding multiple devices and software updates, and November is already shaping up to be just as enlightening. EVLeaks has been providing a plethora of leaked images on multiple devices via Twitter, with a large number of images being leaked in the week before Google’s Playground Android Event, which was postponed by Hurricane Sandy. The HTC DLX was first exposed with Verizon branding near the end of October, but since then it has been discovered that the device will be likely be known as the Droid DNA.
Today EVLeaks released yet another Droid DNA image showing Verizon branding. According to a Verizon Minimum Advertised Pricing guide leaked around the same time as the last batch of leaked device images, the Droid DNA will likely hit stores in late November. The pricing is listed as $199, which is undoubtedly the new contract pricing. This puts it squarely in the holiday shopping boom, and possibly even a Thanksgiving weekend launch.
What do we know about the specs for the upcoming device?
- Quad-Core Snapdragon Pro
- 2GB Ram
- 5-inch 1080p
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 16GB On-Board Memory
- 2500mAh battery
Of course, this is what we think we know, and nothing will be set in-stone until the official announcement by Verizon or HTC.
