For those who don’t own the Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 10, HTC EVO 4G LTE, Sprint’s Galaxy S3, and a few other devices, you may be unaware of Google Wallet. It’s basically your mobile wallet. Using NFC (Near Field Communication) it allows you to pay for items by waving your phone over the debit/credit card machine at some stores. This works at CVS, McDonalds, and a few other places as well. It’s pretty cool, because you now longer have to bring your credit card with you.
9. Target
Using the Target app for Android, it makes it easier than ever to find your favorite products at Target and order them straight from your device. You can also find items in your local store, manage you REDcard, track and refill prescriptions as well from the Pharmacy. With Amazon’s Price Check you can scan the barcode, take a picture or just type the name of the product you are looking at to see if there are lower prices on Amazon’s website. The Price Check app also allows you to purchase directly from the App. This is especially useful if you’re in a store and you think the device you’re looking at has a great price on a device, you can search Amazon to see if they have it even cheaper. It’s a must have app for shoppers.
7. Groupon
Who doesn’t love Groupon? They always have great deals in your local area. And now it’s available on your Android device. The Groupon app will show you deals on different products and allow you to buy them straight from the app. This is a bad thing if you don’t have self control, you’ll be broke before you know it. Groupon always has great things for a steal. For Example, today they have a $140 Powerbag for just $35, not that’s a steal!
6. Google Offers
We are always looking for good deals right? Well Google Offers helps to make bargain hunting a little bit easier. Google Offers provides you with daily deals in your city. 4. Barcode Scanner
This is a pretty simple app. It allows you to scan barcodes and get prices as well as more information. As you can see above, you can also search for the product, or if it’s a book you can search for it in Google Books, search the contents and even find it in Google Shopper. Like I said it’s a really simple app, but very useful, especially when you’re out shopping.
3. eBay
Who doesn’t love eBay? They constantly are having some great deals on top-of-the-line Android devices like the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 2. With Google Shopper you can find local and online pricing, read reviews of the products, see specifications and much more. It’s a great app for those shopaholics out there.
1. Amazon Mobile
And our number one pick is Amazon Mobile. Simple because Amazon is so popular and so many of us use it. The Amazon Mobile app is basically the mobile web version of Amazon’s website, but it’s so much easier to use in an app. It also just got updated not to long ago to support Tablet layouts like on the Nexus 10, and Galaxy Note 10.1. If you’re a huge fan of Amazon, this is the app for you.
