If you feel like you’re suddenly hearing a lot about Huawei, the Chinese multinational telecom company, it’s because of their push into the global smartphone market. That push is about to get much more serious as rumors of a major release group appear to be very serious, and consumers will likely see at least 6 new Huawei devices (4 Android devices and 2 Windows Phone 8) launch by early 2013.
Huawei, already a major player in the telecom infrastructure industry, is now pumping up its smartphone and tablet selection, and official announcements of the devices and their release dates should come over the next few weeks. Primarily focused on Android and Windows Phone devices, the company is expected to reach into new markets with their new Ascend generation of devices.
Devices expected to release in early 2013:

Much of the information on these devices is still unknown, but obviously some information has leaked. The phones and phablets run the spectrum of mid-tier to cutting edge, and expectations are high for this group of devices.
Release information is basically non-existent at this point, and market information is still pending. Huawei hasn’t had excellent trade relations with the United States government as of late, so a release of the full generation seems unlikely. Full releases in Europe and Asia are certainly expected, but there’s no additional information to make concrete predictions. Huawei appears dedicated to their mobile technology division, and expectations are high going into Q1 of 2012.
