Photoshop Touch Updated: 7" Display Support, Sharing, and New Effects

For those of you who are unaware of what Photoshop Touch is, it’s a nifty program application created by Adobe that allows you to work on images straight from your iPad or Android tablet! Not only that but you are also given the power to combine and apply “professional effects” to your photos. Absolutely awesome! Why did I not know about this sooner?!

Here are just a few of the features this app allows picture lovers like me to do:

  • Use layer, selection tools, adjustments, and filters just like in Photoshop on your tablet to create amazing images!
  • Utilize the camera on your device to fill in a specific layer on your image.
  • Work on High-resolution images, but still keep the quality of your images.

I can’t believe I didn’t know about this app until now! I lucked out in taking a class for Photoshop just the previous semester. Once I started I was hooked, I absolutely love Photoshop and its abilities.

It currently is available to both iOS and Android users for $10.00, but if you know the magic you can create with these tools, it’s definitely worth the money!! It gets even better; it was recently updated to support 7″ inch tablets. So, got a Nexus 7, love taking pictures and working on them? This app is the perfect fit for you!

The only kickback it requires 1024X768 resolution or higher. So, if you are a proud owner of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 I’m truly sorry that you will be unable to experience this great opportunity.

The update also comes with a few more bells and whistles. Brush strokes have made “smoother,” which is a good thing if you are one using a stylus. Adobe then added “Lens Flare” and “Stamp Pattern” which you can see picture below.

Lastly, the ability to share the wonderful creations you make via Facebook and Twitter, which yes I think we all know, I’m a picture junky who loves to share my pictures on all my social media spots.

If you haven’t checked out this app, I suggest you do so immediately! I promise you that it will definitely be worth your time. Being in College we have to pay huge sums of money for classes and learning to use Photoshop and edit images was the best $300 I have ever spent! Adobe Touch is definitely worth my $10!

Do we have any readers out there who have Adobe Touch and use it? Is there anyone who dislikes the application and thinks it’s a huge waste of money? Tell us about it!
