UK Microprocessor Firm ups their offer for MIPS

Today the UK microprocessor firm, Imagination Technologies, upped their bid to purchase the US chip Designer MIPS to $100M in cash. They want to purchase MIPS for “certain” patents. Sounds a bit like the Google-Motorola Deal from last year.

HTC Ordered all AUO AMOLED Panels for Q1 2013

Well this is interesting, all of AUO’s 4.3-inch AMOLED display panels for the Q1 2013 have been bought up by HTC. Now this is likely for another device since the M7 is rumored to have a 4.7-inch display, and the Droid DNA/Butterfly is a 5-inch display.
