When it comes to shopping for devices at retail, there’s one company that seems to do it better than anybody else and that’s Apple. As much as we may not like their products or how their legal team is handling themselves, there’s no denying that they make nice places to go and shop in. Apple Stores across the globe deal with a whole lot of customers and they always seems to be pretty happy with the service, something that’s very important when you’re asking people to spend a lot of money on your products.
For some time now, Samsung has been looking to compete with Apple on this front and now, they’re beginning to do so with their first store that has opened in Paris. The Samsung Mobile store is a pretty impressive affair and as you’d imagine, features advice from specialists who can show you just how to get the best out of that Galaxy Note 10.1.
It’s pretty important to get people in the know to pass on advice as there a lot of people that will buy a device and get frustrated because they don’t know how to use it properly and they just often return it to the store. How many times have you gone into Best Buy and seen somebody returning something because they simple can’t use it? Apple have has avoided this problem for some time now, with well trained staff in store to pass on vital advice to customers. Samsung is hoping to do the same, and raise their reputation in the process.
By opening their first store in one of the most culturally vibrant cities in the world – Paris – Samsung can show that they are more than just a company that makes electronics.
Perhaps the best thing about having a store like this though, is that Samsung have provided a welcoming space for consumers to give their products a try and any questions they might have are answered quickly and efficiently. After all, the Note II has a lot going for it, but does everyone get it right away? By giving them a little help Samsung can create happier customers.
I’m curious to see where Samsung will open up their next store, perhaps somewhere in the States? Do we think that Apple will be bringing a lawsuit to their door over retail stores? I think it’s good that Samsung are finally offering a space for people to try stuff out and it really shows their vast product portfolio to all.
