Just yesterday, we heard that there were possible marketing materials possibly being sent out to select T-Mobile locations that were unable to receive shipments of the LG Nexus 4. This could be good news because today the 16 GB Nexus 4 has become unavailable on the Google Play store. It was only a matter of time right?
Before it sold out, it was at an 8-9 week shipping estimation. Many are hoping that Google will get in shipments a lot sooner then this estimation since February is a ways out yet, and I’m sure many purchased the LG Nexus 4 for Christmas either for themselves or significant others.
Again, if you are one who is absolutely certain that you must have a LG Nexus 4 before this estimation date T-Mobile is possibly in the works of receiving shipments soon. Keep your eyes peeled for any news regarding it, because once the news hits, the inventory will sell out fast once it becomes available.
This brings me to the next point. Why is Google having so many issues with getting this device into the hands of Android loving consumers? We all believe they should have anticipated the huge demand because let’s face it, no matter what, it’s the Nexus flagship device and things like the fully encasing the device in glass and no LTE has not stopped people from doing everything they could to switch to carriers that would support the Nexus 4 just so they could have it.
The Nexus 4 is also carrying the latest version of Android 4.2.1, which is another big reason that many want the device. It’s new, and needs to be explored who wouldn’t want it? Well, I can say from personal experience I was not one who rushed out to the stores, or the Google Play store to get it. However, if I was presented with one, or happen to win one I would have to say it would be my lucky day.
Do we have any followers who are stilling waiting to have the opportunity to buy a LG Nexus 4? How does Google’s handling of this flagship device make you feel? I hope Google is taking good notes for the next Google Nexus flagship because it would seem no matter the negative aspects of the device, it’s going to be a very high demand device.
