Chrome Beta gets its first Update

Last week, Google introduced us to the beta channel for Chrome. Well today, Chrome Bet got it’s first update. It received a ton of bug fixes as well:

  • 164632 – Edit Bookmark is broken

  • 167351 – Youtube video controls are lost after returning from fullscreen

  • 167016 – Some Samsung Galaxy S2 freezes

  • 168062 – Double tapping on non-zoomable sites scrolls the page to the top briefly before returning to original position

  • 167379 – Sometimes tabswitcher is frozen

  • 166998 – Tab content stretched out while returning to it through side swipe gesture

  • 168632 – Crash – Stack Signature: TabAndroidImpl::FromWebContents

  • 168388 – Sync signed in info text’s font size is too small

  • 168430 – Bookmark star icon doesn’t turn grey/white immediately after bookmarking URL /deleting URL from bookmarks

Today, the Sony Xperia Z went up for Pre-Order in Slovakia for â‚¬605.99. This price is right in line with the prices we’ve seen from other parts of the world today for the Sony Xperia Z.

Motorola Photon Q Getting an OTA Update

Today, Motorola Photon Q owners started getting an OTA update from Sprint. And nope it’s not Jelly Bean. It’s pretty much just a bug fix update. So it’s still important but not the update we all wanted.

Tapatalk HD Leaves Beta, Now on Sale on the Play Store

Today, Tapatalk HD left beta and headed to the Play Store. And to celebrate it launching on the Play Store, it is on sale for $0.99, so make sure you grab it before the sale is over. You can grab it from the Play Store here.

Notif, making your Grocery List look great!

Here’s a new app for everyone to check out. It’s a notes app that allows you to do text and picture notes as well as creating a list. And the app is Holo themed, so it looks great. You can grab it from the Play Store now, but it only supports Jelly Bean devices.

Nexus 4 Stock Hitting T-Mobile Stores

Well it is arriving at T-Mobile, but limited quantities. As you can see from the leaked image above, it looks like this particular T-Mobile store got 5 devices while they received 11 Galaxy S3’s. So it’s going to be hard to grab a Nexus 4.

Carbon App Backup Solution hits Beta

The guy behind ROM Manager and Clockworkmod has just put out a new beta app. It’s called Carbon, not the Twitter app Carbon, it’s a free app backup solution. Right now it requires root, but in the final version it will not.

Galaxy Note 2 Jelly Bean Update with Multi-Window Support Coming to Canada

Today, Samsung Canada told us that the Galaxy Note 2 Jelly Bean update which brings multi-window support will be coming soon. So those in the great white north, should have some multi-window fun coming soon.

Pulse gets updated

Pulse got a nice update, but it’s not an app update, it’s an update to the actual service. It is now more friendly and personal and allows you to add your Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr and Tumblr feeds to the app. Don’t forget to add us on Pulse.

Apple reportedly Halved Orders for iPhone 5 Display

Good news for us Android fans. It looks like Apple isn’t selling as many iPhone 5’s as they thought they would. I wonder if the Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2 is to blame?
