It seems like every other retailer out there is getting the Nexus 4 to sell, except for Google Play. And since Google Play is where we all want to buy it from, let’s ask Google one simple question “Y U NO Give Google Play Nexus 4?” Yeah the meme is in full effect, I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels like Google is trolling all of their Nexus fans.
Today, Best Buy’s website showed up with the Nexus 4 for T-Mobile. Now Best Buy is a T-Mobile authorized retailer, so it could have something to do with that, but it is showing as sold out online. And it is showing $199.99 with a 2-year contract and $599.99 for the full price, which is the same as the version T-Mobile has or had in their stores. So we’d assume that this it he 16GB and not the 8GB version. But it’s important to point out that at T-Mobile you are paying $249.99 with a contract and you have a $50 mail-in rebate. Which sucks, and most of us will forget to mail it in, thus losing out on the $50.
So far we have no idea when the device will actually be available for order from Best Buy and since it just showed up on the site today, it’s entirely possible that they could be getting ready to sell the device pretty soon. But in any case we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the Nexus 4 out of stock saga as it continues. We’re still crossing our fingers in hope that Google and LG can get the Nexus 4 in stock everywhere very soon. We know plenty of people looking to get a Nexus 4, just check out Nexus 4 Giveaway, over 2,000 comments on that post already, and it ends on Thursday! So you better get your entry in before it’s to late.
Who’s still waiting to get their hands on a Nexus 4 from Google Play? Are you going to finally cave and just pick one up from T-Mobile or Best Buy? Or if you’re outside the US, one of your favorite carrier stores? Let us know in the comments below.
