Who doesn’t love getting free games from PlayStation Mobile? Well starting today, Sony and HTC Android users will be able to grab a PlayStation Mobile game every seven days for the next 6 weeks. The first game up for grabs is the Samurai Beatdown. Which a rhythmic-action scroller where you can slash/dash your way through vibrant landscapes by tapping your screen to a funky synth soundtrack. So far Sony hasn’t revealed what other titles will be available for free for the next 6 weeks. But we are hoping that the rest of the titles that’ll be offered will be a bit more popular, or this promotion could turn out to be a bit of a dud. And Sony doesn’t want that. It’s also important that we note that this promotion is restricted for Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Australia. That’s primarily because those are the only countries with PlayStation.
In addition to the Sony and HTC devices that are Sony PlayStation Certified, there are a handful of Sharp Android devices that are PlayStation Certified as well. So if you’re rocking an Aquos (what’s that?), you’ll be able to get in on some of this free-gaming action from Sony.
