Earlier this morning S Mobility Limited out of India officially announced the launch of the Stellar Pinnacle MI 530. This handset signals the Spice Company’s (Completely different from the US Cable channel) attempt to enter the world of “Phablets” with the phone’s large 5.3 inch qHD IPS display.
The Stellar Pinnacle MI 530 will be offering some pretty good specs but nothing too Earth shattering for most Android enthusiasts, however it is a decent enough device that it should not be overlooked. In fact the main selling point of this device is not the specifications at all, it’s a unique user interface. The Stellar Pinnacle is promising such features (or gimmicks) as USB OTG, Pop-up play, Flip to Mute, Intelligent Answer, Direct Call, Gesture Screen Lock, Hi Connect, Boot Acceleration & Power Saving Mode.
Commenting on the launch, T M Ramakrishnan, CEO Devices, S Mobility said, “We have invested heavily in the research and development of the Stellar Pinnacle MI 530 to offer a superlative user experience and are confident that this premium product from Spice will set new standards in the industry.”
