Just yesterday we found out from our good friend @evleaks that the HTC M7 would be officially named the HTC One. We also already know that HTC is having a big event in New York City and London on February 19th to announce this device. Now we see pictures on Flickr, and the EXIF data appear to say that the camera taking the picture is a “HTC One”.
This picture was found on Flickr, and the largest uploaded version was only 1158×2048. This could be a crop, a resized version, or the ‘ultrapixel’ technology in action. Ultrapixel is said to have three separate sensors in action. You can check out the source link below for more EXIF data. It’s important that we remind you that these could very well be faked. Earlier this week we also found pictures taken with the AT&T, Sprint and Korean Galaxy S4, and those can easily be faked. EXIF data is easier to fake then benchmarks and Android versions.
While we wait on February 19th to get official word on specs and other features of the HTC M7, here are the rumored specs:
- 4.7-inch 1080p display
- 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 13MP rear-facing camera; 2.1MP front-facing camera
- Android Jelly Bean, Sense 5.0
So far there’s no word on battery size, or which version of Jelly Bean the M7 will come with. As we said these are all rumored specs and should be taken with a grain of salt. So far it appears that it’ll be a smaller version of the HTC Droid DNA/Butterfly/J Butterfly, with a slightly faster CPU. Although we’ll have to wait until February 19th to see what HTC officially puts in the device. As always you can count on Android Headlines to bring you all the Android news from their events in London and New York City.
So is anyone interested in the HTC M7? Or are you going to wait for Samsung to put out the Galaxy S4, potentially at an event on March 15th? Let us know in the comments below.
