We’ve heard a ton about the Galaxy S4 lately. Including an announcement date that is now official. March 14th is when it all goes down in New York City. You’ll want to be sure you’re following us to get all the information from the event. Now it looks like Samsung is ready to dump the Galaxy S4 LTE (GT-I9505) into a mockup specifically for retailers. Samsung is also wanting one device with LTE and 3G on it which is hinting at the Snapdragon 600 processor in the Galaxy S4. Yet another possibility is the use of Exynos processor with a separate LTE chip. Sammobile’s insider has told them that Samsung is mostly sure to use Snapdragon instead of Exynos. But this is coming from Sammobile, so you’ll want to take that with a grain of salt.
The next generation Galaxy S phone is said to be coming in two different colors, making 6 different variants, as listed below:
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 16 GB (White)
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 32 GB (White)
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 64 GB (White)
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 16 GB (Black)
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 32 GB (Black)
GT-I9500 Galaxy S IV 64 GB (Black)
Storage is never really a problem with Samsung devices since they do provide a MicroSD card slot. But perhaps with the addition of the 64GB variant, Samsung is looking to get rid of the MicroSD card slot. If they do, that would make a lot of people upset. Many buy a Samsung device because they are one of the only manufacturers left that still offer a microSD card slot. But with 64GB of internal storage, do you really need more space on a phone?
We’ll have the answers to all this and more when Samsung formally introduces the Galaxy S4 on March 14th. Which variant would you be buying when it becomes available? Let us know in the comments below.
