MLB.com At Bat
With the 2013 MLB Season right around the corner, we thought this would be the perfect app to through in our weekly apps list. With MLB at Bat you can stay up to date with your favorite MLB teams. Watch video and listen to live audio of games. This year they are offering multiple subscriptions. For MLB.TV Premium subscribers, you’ll just need to login with your cable/satellite (Comcast, Time Warner, etc.) credentials. Or you can pay a one-time annual fee of $20 that will cover the entire 2013 season from Spring Training to the World Series. So which team do you have for the World Series?
Pulse News
Now this is an app you should already be using. It’s a great news reader, and now Android Headlines is on Pulse. So make sure you’ve added us! Pulse has recently added Pulse Highlights which highlights stories you care about and will show them to your friends on Pulse’ app and website. The best thing about Pulse compared to other news apps like Google Currents, and Flipboard is that it is cross-platform. It is even accessible on your desktop. I really wish Currents was available on the desktop. You can also import your Google Reader feeds straight to Pulse News which is a big deal since Google Reader will be gone as of July 1st.
Legend of Minerva RPG
Those gamers out there that love RPG games, you’re gonna love this one from G-Gee Games. It’s described as a Dark, mature fantasy TCG TPG. Also a greatly anticipated fantasy battle RPG. It was just updated yesterday with some new bug fixes. As far as features go it allows you to play through the story with a wide variety of characters, work to collect over 1000 different cards and so much more. It’s free on the Play Store, so why not check it out?
Magisto – Magic Video Editor
Who would have thought we could edit videos on our phones and tablets? Truth is, your Android-powered phone or tablet is probably more powerful than your computer now. Magisto is one of those video editing apps that’s available for free, and of course it has a ton of users. Google Play is showing it has near 5 million downloads. So it’s gotta be pretty good, right? Some of the features include an unprecedented AI technology, easy share functions, automatic video stabilization, filters, effects, transitions and so much more.
The Walking Dead Dead Yourself
We all know how popular the Walking Dead is, in fact I always see people talking about it in my Google+ stream. So thought this game would be a good one to throw in our list this week. In this game you’ll be joining thousands of people from around the world and turn yourself into a photo-realistic Walker Zombie from The Walking Dead. The app gets updated every Sunday during the season for new eyes, mouths and props from the new episodes. Which is pretty cool. Best of all, it’s free.
