Confirmed: HTC One Hitting the US and Canada Before the End of April

This morning HTC made it official and gave us a timeline for the HTC One arriving in various markets. The One will be hitting the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week, but it won’t see the rest of Europe and most of Asia-Pacific or North America until the end of April. Here’s the note that HTC is sending out to the press:

“HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.”

So there you go, unfortunately more bad news for HTC. We were hoping that HTC could get the HTC One out before the end of March and be able to sell quite a few before Samsung. But it looks like that won’t be happening. Hopefully HTC’s new marketing strategy will be enough to keep potential buyers away from the Galaxy S4 and wait for the HTC One. Which according to our phone war between the Galaxy S4 and HTC One, it looks like quite a few people are patiently awaiting the HTC One.

Hopefully we won’t see anymore delays for the HTC One, as I’d really like to see the device hit the market already. It’s a great looking device and I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it. On the other hand, HTC better cross their fingers that no one else announces a  new phone in the next month or two, besides Google I/O. Or else the HTC One might do pretty bad.

How many of you are patiently waiting on the HTC One? Let us know in the comments below.
