Here at Android Headlines, we try to cover a bit of everything as it pertains to Android. So that includes custom ROMs. I’ve already done quite a few reviews of different ROMs for the Nexus 7 and the Galaxy S3. Now today, we are beginning a new feature called “Custom ROM Spotlight”. Each week we’ll be featuring a different ROM. It could be a popular one like Paranoid Android, or it could be one that is only available for the Galaxy Note 2. But if you have an ROM that you’d like to see featured, feel free to leave a comment below.
This week we’re taking a look at the Elemental X ROM that’s available for a few different Nexus devices. Since it is a ROM for a variety of Nexus devices, we know that’s an AOSP-based ROM, which it is. It’s also based off of some of the more popular ROMs like AOKP and CyanogenMod. Let’s take a look at the features.

Elemental X is a holo dark theme natively. The Eclipse mode toggle changes from holo dark to a darker jet black look. Giving you the Eclipse darkness!

Editors Note: This ROM is brand spanking new for all three supported devices. It just popped up on XDA on Wednesday, so there aren’t a whole lot of screenshots to grab and show off.
What ROM are you running? Give it a shout out in the comments below.
