Rumor: Motorola To Have At Least 3 New Phones in Pipeline After X Phone?

Seems like lately all the rumors have been Motorola or Samsung. We’ve seen a few X Phone rumors hit the interwebs in the past 24-48 hours. Now there’s a new rumor coming from PhoneArena, with some help from Android and Me. With the rumors we saw yesterday, Android and Me’s source stated that we would see a few more Droids later this year. That would probably be heading to Verizon. Now we already know that Google inherited about an 18-month product pipeline when they purchased Motorola. So hopefully these will be the last few devices from the old Motorola team.

PhoneArena has learned that there are 3 additional devices in the pipeline coming after the X Phone, which is said to be launching this Summer. Motorola is rumored to be working on a pair of devices that will be coming out in Q3, which starts in July. One device has a larger screen while the other has a smaller one. We don’t know if it’ll be “phablet” sized or not. But it might just be a new Droid Razr M and Droid Razr Maxx HD. Since the smaller one is said to be about 4-inches.

In Q4, Motorola is reportedly working on a device that could be offered unlocked at a price point that may in fact be lower than the Nexus 4. So far there’s no indication that any of these 3 phones will be a Nexus device.

Remember that these are rumors and have not been confirmed. Although we are certain that Motorola will release a few more Droid branded phones later this year. So this sounds like one of the more believable rumors we’ve seen as of late. But be sure to take this all with a grain of salt.

So what do you want to see out of Motorola in the second half of 2013? Let us know in the comments down below.
