We already know the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 are coming this year. But the question, other than specs, pricing, etc., is when? Well last year, the Galaxy Note 2 was announced at Unpacked shortly before IFA in Berlin. Which was late August. This year IFA kicks off September 2nd, and a new report coming from SamMobile showing that both devices will make a debut at IFA this September. Which would mean Unpacked will happen a few days before. Lately SamMobile has actually been rather on point with their details about unannounced devices. But we’d still urge you to take this all with a grain of salt. On the other hand, this is very likely the time when the Galaxy Note 3 will be announced.
So far the rumors for the Galaxy Note 3 are pointing at a 6.3-inch display. Which is even larger than the Ascend Mate that Huawei showed off at CES in January. The Ascend Mate was 6.1-inches with on-screen buttons. We highly doubt that Samsung will go away from the physical buttons, so the phone is still going to be quite large, unfortunately.
As for the Galaxy Tab 3, we’ve seen rumors of Samsung preparing 3 different Galaxy Tab models. Which is a bit odd that they are going to stick with the Galaxy Tab, since they have been pushing out Galaxy Note tablets like the 10.1 and 8.0. Just recently, all three of them got DLNA certified, but we’ve only seen the European versions go through the Bluetooth SIG. But they’ll definitely be coming in September with the Galaxy Note 3.
You might think it’s to early for Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 release rumors, but it’s really never to early. If you’re a Galaxy Note fan, it’s going to be a long summer, but hopefully Samsung will make it worth your wild in September.
