It’s ten days until we finally get to see what Samsung have up their sleeve when it comes to their latest and greatest flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S IV has been rumored about, whispered about for what feels like forever and we’re extremely close to finding out whether or not any or all of the rumors hold any truth. We’ve been hearing some really crazy things about the S IV, like whether or not it will ship with a Snapdragon 600 or the Exynos 5 Octa. Regardless of what processor is inside the thing, it’s still going to sell extremely well and I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I just want to find out what the Galaxy S IV will come packing.
Samsung have been doing pretty well when it comes to marketing this past year or so and it looks like they’re embracing the “Top Secret” attitude surrounding the launch and has released a sort of teaser for the upcoming event. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t reveal any new details but then, why would it? There’s something to be said of Samsung’s good marketing, and they’re one of the few Android manufacturers you see advertising aggressively on the internet. All HTC did in the run up to the announcement of the HTC One was some very short videos and the odd picture share.
The event is yet another of Samsung’s “Mobile Unpacked” event and we’re sure they’re going to have some pretty strange things to show off at the event on March 14th as they normally like to do something big for their announcements. We’re not sure it’s the most professional ad Samsung has sent out across the Internet but, as they proved with their “Next Big Thing” campaign last year, they’re not afraid to do something different. The teaser trailer is below and I’m sure you’ll find it as corny as I did. It’s a nice, lighthearted gag that should be continuing in another part. Exciting stuff, right?
